Cassandra Showell Hedelius was born in Riverton, Utah, and grew up in Parker, Colorado as the second of six children. She attended the University of Oklahoma on a full academic scholarship and graduated cum laude with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Mathematics in 2005.

Ms. Hedelius attended law school at the University of Colorado in Boulder, where she participated in moot court competitions, mock trial activities, and represented indigent clients in the Criminal Defense Clinic. She also interned for Judge Juanita Rice in Colorado’s 18th Judicial District.

Ms. Hedelius was admitted to the bar in 2008 and joined Cox Baker & Page as the newest associate in December 2008. She is excited to focus her practice on family law, which she enjoys for its wide scope of potential issues and the satisfaction of working with people and families.

Ms. Hedelius enjoys hiking, reading, writing, and playing the piano, and is active in her church.
