Danielle L. Moore

Danielle L. Moore was born on November 27, 1972, at the Women’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the older of two children. Ms. Moore received her undergraduate degree in Native American Studies from Dartmouth College. Following graduation from Dartmouth in 1995, Ms. Moore completed a year of graduate work in American History at the University of Michigan followed by completion of law school at the University of Arizona College of Law in 2000.

After receiving her license to practice law in the state of Colorado in 2000, Ms. Moore served as a Colorado State Deputy Public Defender and Assistant Attorney General. As a Deputy State Public Defender and Assistant Attorney General, Ms. Moore represented indigent and state defendants in jury and bench trials, as well as appellate matters, in both state and federal court. Ms. Moore has argued in front of the Colorado Court of Appeals and Tenth Circuit and has otherwise completed substantial training with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.

For approximately the last three years, Ms. Moore has focused her practice exclusively on family and domestic relations matters and handles primarily high-conflict cases given her extensive litigation background. Specifically, Ms. Moore enjoys helping clients navigate an often complicated and unfamiliar legal landscape during a very difficult time in their lives.

Ms. Moore is a member of the Colorado Board of Governors, the Colorado Bar Association, including its Family Law Section, the Colorado Indian Bar Association, the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, and the Denver Bar Association.

Ms. Moore is also an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Chippewa Tribe. In her free time, Ms. Moore plays volleyball, participates in a bowling league, and spends time with her family.
